WHAT IS THE HANDS FREE & SKI?
The Hands Free & Ski allows skiers of all ages to comfortably carry their skis and poles right from the car or lodge to the lift without having to store bulky equipment. It can be used in several different positions as seen above — hand-held, over-the-shoulder and as a shoulder strap. The Hands Free & Ski can also be used in a cross-body position for those who prefer to hike up the mountain with their gear and ski down.
FEATURES
Using the Hands Free & Ski, an adult can easily carry four pairs of skis and poles (or more if you’re feeling ambitious). It’s so easy, even kids can use it. The product features a soft carrying case that provides extra padding and comfort. It’s so compact when rolled up, that it can fit comfortably in the palm of your hand. The Hands Free & Ski also ensures your skis and poles will be stored nicely when you return home from the slopes. Keep your equipment in the Hands Free & Ski and hang the strap over a standard wall or ceiling hook (not included).
HISTORY
The Hands Free & Ski was developed by George Yost after taking many ski trips with his wife and three daughters. Knowing the difficulty of carrying multiple sets of skis and poles, Yost wanted to create something that made it easier to transport equipment but didn’t involve a bulky device. During one particular drive to Vermont, Yost came up with the concept of the Hands Free & Ski and soon went to work on a sewing machine. Since then, the product has been awarded a United States patent, has been featured on QVC, and is sold in stores across the country and online.
